Call it Tapas

Although this particular family favorite meal required a trip to the grocery store, the beauty of a “call it tapas” dinner is that it doesn’t require it. Rummage through the pantry, find something forgotten in the back of the refrigerator and assemble. A little bit of this and a little bit of that. Toast helps. Always. Here are some easy ideas from the ACB:

And here’s a new one: Sautéed Mushrooms.

 

Sauté mushrooms in oil and/or butter with a little bit of salt until tender. Turn off heat and add a little Half-and-Half.
